Animal rescue working to create happy endings

The True Blue Animal Shelter has cared for countless animals and has helped them regain their health and happiness, reports The Magnolia Potpourri.

Owner's Linda and James Taylor shared the story of Image, a neglected horse the pair took into their shelter. When Image first arrived, she was emaciated and had a fungal infection. The mare then went through several months of treatments for the infection and was put on a regular feeding schedule to help her build strength.

The Taylors have encountered some very sad cases but their goal isn't to be rewarded. The couple wants to educate people about how to care for animals and to also offer a place for animals that have nowhere else to go.

"Sometimes what we get into...can be very sad, but at the end of the day what makes us really enjoy it is those happy endings," Linda told the news source.

Animal shelters have been experiencing tough times during these trying economic conditions. They are always looking for volunteers or donations in monetary form and supplies as well.

According to the Humane Society, six to eight millions dogs and cats are cared for in shelters every year. Those who are looking to add an animal to the family should check out local animal shelters. There are tons of wonderful creatures looking for a loving home.ADNFCR-2796-ID-19782418-ADNFCR
