Leona Lewis thinks about animal rights while on tour

Leona Lewis is a true beauty - inside and out. The X-Factor champion and Bleeding Love chanteuse has not only wooed the world with her incredible voice, but is putting her best foot forward for animal rights.

According to, Lewis, who is a strict vegan, has spent over $262,000 on an entire ethical clothing wardrobe.

"When I see people wearing fur it makes me so sick. Especially when I see young singers doing it - that sickens me. At my first photo shoot they had feathers and fur there and everything. I had to make it so clear that I just do not go there," she told the news source.

Lewis isn't the first star to speak out against wearing fur. Celebrities such as Pamela Anderson, Alicia Silverstone and Charlize Theron have used their star power to promote animal rights.

Still, Lewis also doesn't hesitate to gush about another animal she adores - horses.

"I'd love to have a sanctuary for horses, because they're such big animals - they require a lot of work, a lot of space, so it's very hard for charities," she told this month's Modern Dog Magazine.ADNFCR-2796-ID-19817763-ADNFCR
