Rescue shelter is home to exotic animals

Tracy Davis and Michael Zambori met in 1989 and bonded over their love for helping animals. Together they maintain a 15-acre property that has become the home to many rescued animals over the last 10 years, reports.

Davis runs a hair salon out of the home while Zambori tends to all of the animals they have rescued over the years. They currently care for 10 dogs, several pigeons, monkeys, pigmy goats and other exotic animals.

Their love of animals started when they were both children growing up around farms.

"The whole idea of animal rescue, in my opinion, is we are the voice for that particular animal," Davis told the news source.

The pair takes in animals that may have been neglected or abused and they rehabilitate them to get ready for adoption. They also help educate the public about the importance of spaying and neutering and proper pet care, while also encouraging students to volunteer at an animal rescue or shelter.ADNFCR-2796-ID-19850208-ADNFCR
