SitStayRead now in the running for Chicago grant

Chicago-based literacy charity SitStayRead is in the running for a Sun Shine Project grant. Founded in 2003, SitStayRead takes trained volunteers and certified dog teams to Chicago inner-city schools to encourage children to read. Learn more about what they do here:

Each year, the Chicago Sun-Times Charity Trust awards grants to charities in the region that support youth in education, art, and civic engagement. The Sun Shine Project allows visitors to the website to "shine a light" on worthy charities and select organizations and projects for these grants.

Supporters of SitStayRead can vote for them at the Sun Shine Project page.
