We picked rasta up at the pound November 2011. This giant dog was skin and bones.. with lots of love, a healthy diet and good exercise he is the healthy loving dog you see here! Funny story... we went there to "look"and fell in love (I was supposed to buy curtains that day for our new home lol)! So much that I forgot the paperwork at home to show we owned pur home and my husband grabbed his paper so .mo one else could look at him while I raced home! Rasta is the most gentle, loving giant dog ever... he loves to be around us, and smuggle with us. When he hears one of us coming up the steps it sounds like his tail is going to bust down the door! He loves our boys so much as well, so much that every night before he lays down in his bed he circles the boys room and "checks it out" just to make sure they are safe! Rasta knew he was home from the moment he stepped in our house.. he made way to the back door and pranced through the snow before coming back in and jumping next to us to cover us in kisses. In this picture he is snuggled up with our other dog chloe, who he massively over powers but treats with the most gentle playfulness. Life would not be the same with out our multi colored eye, gentle giant!!!
