This rescue was started in honor of my Aunt Cookie Thompkins who passed several years ago with a rare liver cancer that ended her life so very quickly. Since starting back in late 2016, I've saved over 1,000 dogs and cats.That may not sound like many to some, but to me it means so much because I've done it 90% alone. I dont have help, a medical team or a budget. I run on donations alone and some months that is not much at all to even pay the electric bill. But by the grace of the surrounding communities and out of state adoptions, we manage to get by!The dogs & myself have just purchased property and relocated and now we are building from the ground up. We need support and donations now more than ever to continue renovations before winter gets here and were only 30% done and need so much more done including materials!!
