First Ladies Farm and Sanctuary grew out of a passion for rescuing and/TNVRing cats and kittens. We also rescue and provide lifetime sanctuary for domestic fowl — chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons, and peafowl (some cats get this as well, especially those with special needs). The name of the sanctuary comes from the First Ladies of the US — since usually the men get all the fanfare but we know the woman worked hard, too, and we wanted to honor their legacies! 2020 is the rescue's third year and we have placed more than 400 cats this year alone on a shoestring budget.
