Kind Keeper Animal Rescue

Kind Keeper Animal Rescue is a small, no-kill rescue in North Myrtle Beach that was started in 2015. We are not affiliated with any city, county or governmental entities. We rely totally on donations and our adoption fees to care for our animals. We take animals at risk for euthanasia from surrounding county shelters.- almost 300 so far in 2020. We also accept owner surrender animals, or animals that are found by people. We take pregnant dogs, puppies, pregnant cats, kittens, as well as senior animals. We have 10 dog kennels, 2 whelping rooms for pregnant dogs and nursing dogs with puppies. We have a cat habitat room as well as kitty condos. Our intake/adoption rates have risen steadily since 2016 when we adopted out 100 animals to 2019 - when we found homes for 481 animals. We received a donation and are actively looking for land to build a new shelter with more space. Our organizational goals are to save as many homeless animals as possible, provide veterinary care and place the animals in loving homes. We also strive to educate the community and new adopters on how to care for their animals (including spay/neutering) and keep them safe.
