Our mission is to encourage the community to adopt its next Chow Chow from a shelter; check area shelters for urgent euthanasia-bound Chow Chows‚Äã that are labeled "Rescue Only";offer placement assistance for families who want to rehome their Chow Chows; spay/neuter our Chow Chows; up-date vaccinations for our Chow Chows; socialize our Chow Chows in an indoor home environment and place Chow Chows with responsible "furever" homes. The administrator moved her residence to two acres of land in rural Weatherford to be able to comfortably house more Chow Chows. Last year, as sole unpaid caretaker, she rescued more than rescue 50 Chow Chows at one time and managed to neuter, spay, and many cases, treat Chow Chows for heartworms. Over the past year, she has placed more than 30 Chow Chows in forever homes. Over the 4 year of the rescues' existence, she has placed hundreds. The stigma of the Chow Chow's reluctance to accept new people into their lives prevents volunteers and fosters from volunteering, so the administrator does it all. She needs your help!
