I bought both colors and kept the wine shade. I will give the green away for a Christmas present. The throw is not too heavy and not too light. I have it on my bed and it looks beautiful.

I bought the wine color. Despite the rather confusing laundry instructions, it machine washed and dried beautifully on gentle cycle / medium heat. It's not what I typically think of as chenille, as it's a lower "pile" than, say, a chenille sweater or bedspread, and I'm actually glad about that, much less likely to shed or snag. It will be going on either the sofa or loveseat in my living room, just depends on where it looks best, and I know it will be a lovely accent. So glad I bought it.

This throw is absolutely beautiful and good quality. My whole living room looks better with this on my sofa, and it has my cats' approval also! Unfortunately not able to upload a file, but it's a very good buy!
