Tens of thousands of pets in Ukraine have been abandoned by their families, stranded in the middle of a war zone with no food or shelter. Lion was rescued by the military in the Donetsk region.
Lion had clearly been living as a stray for some time. This poor boy was suffering from gingivitis, matted fur and severe flea dermatitis. He was given antibiotics to treat his inflamed gums and topical treatments to treat his allergic reaction to the flea bites.
Now, Lion is waiting for a new family at the Patron Pet Center (PPC). Greater Good Charities helped open PPC's doors in the summer of 2023 to dogs and cats affected by the Russia-Ukraine conflict. But with no end to the war in site, Patron is desperate for more space to continue rescuing orphaned pets in need. You can help!
Support Lion as he battles severe allergies and gum infection!
Greater Good Charities is supporting the building of a dedicated space at PPC to house over 200 orphaned cats until they can be rehomed to loving new families. Your donations save the lives of orphaned pets in Ukraine. Donate today!
Help us meet our goal of $5,000 for Lion and pets like him.
