Just like with human mothers, the love of a mother dog for her puppies is really something special. It is a pure and unwavering love that knows no bounds. From the moment her puppies are born, a good mother dog dedicates herself entirely to their care and well-being. She ensures their warmth and comfort, nursing them tirelessly and teaching them essential skills as they grow.

That was seen beautifully in a video of a starving mama dog allowing her puppies to eat before her.

In the 16-second clip, you can see a kind-hearted woman feeding a litter of puppies. The mama dog is right there, and instead of fighting for her puppies for a bite to eat, she lets them chow and doesn't take anything for herself.

The sweet mama dog even offers the woman "thanks" by nuzzling her hand. It's too sweet! Hopefully she was awarded with plenty of food and care after her puppies ate.
