On September 23, The Animal Rescue Site and Greater Good Charities will fly a flight full of adoptable dogs from Louisiana to shelters with more space in New Jersey.

This important flight will depart on September 23rd with over 40 dogs. The pets on this flight are at-risk pets; without the flight, they might never find their loving homes due to the overcrowding that often happens in shelters. Sending these pets from under-resourced shelters to shelters with empty spaces will give them a second chance at life AND the adoption they deserve.

Sweet little Mark was rescued from a landfill after the staff found him stuck down in a piece of equipment used to move debris. Thankfully, he was rescued and brought to the shelter. This little guy is so sweet. Now he's ready to catch a flight to find his forever home and we are so excited he will get that chance! 

Meet Roland!

Roland is smart and sweet and ready to learn even more. He was dropped at a hunting camp and, sadly, was never claimed once he was brought into the shelter. He is very affectionate and plays well with other dogs in play groups. We know he is going to make a great companion and we are excited to see him take off to find that perfect match!

In shelters across the country, highly adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized just because the shelters are overcrowded. In other areas, shelters have a shortage of adoptable pets. We're transporting these pets to shelters where they're immediately adopted.

This month's Good Flight will transport at-risk dogs and cats to safety!
