Golden Retriever Passionately Howls At Firetruck Sirens Like It's His Job

A dog mom named Caralyn has taken to TikTok to share about her siren-loving golden retriever named Charles and people can't get enough of him.

Golden Retrievers are well-known for their friendly, outgoing, and loving personalities. They're generally thought of as being intelligent, loyal, and eager to please.

They also tend to be hyper and take out their energy in various ways, like by playing fetch, running around the yard, and apparently, howling at sirens.

In an adorable viral video, Caralyn filmed Charles howling with the sirens going off in the distance.

He seems to be so passionately invested in his howling that he doesn't even notice when his human steps outside and starts filming him!

"Charles, always submitting his application to be a firetruck siren, never getting any callbacks," caption read.

Since being shared on TiTok, the video has received more than 18 million views and Caralyn has dubbed Charles as "the aspiring fire truck siren."

While most dogs tend to howl on occasion, it seems to be a more regular occurrence for Charles.

Caralyn uploaded other videos featuring the dog's long, intense howls as he tries to mimic the sirens in the distance. Check out the clips below:
