I've lived in my hometown with my parents, brothers and sisters ever since I was born. My father designs and crafts jewelry, and he taught me to love the art of silver.

Of course, I learned from my father. For as far back as I can remember, I've been able to develop my artistic side. I always loved being in his workshop, sharing as he learned new techniques and ways to create jewelry that people would like.

When I was 15, I took a course in fashion design, then later in the Universidad Católica, where I realized that this is what I love – designing, creating, innovating. I have never stopped learning everything I can about jewelry and design to be able to continually offer new and better work.

I find motivation in my work itself, the art of crafting something unique with a history and a reason for being. For me, it's a way of communicating and sharing my culture, of which I am very proud. This beautiful country has given me a reason to exist and an identity of my own.

I strive to transmit a fusion of tradition with modern styles.

The old, with its infinite forms, icons and the techniques used by our ancestors… these are very interesting and special, due to our country's history and what this means for us Peruvians.

The new, with the versatility and perfect craftsmanship of a piece of jewelry. We must always seek innovation. We can't just sit still hoping that everyone likes our designs. No, we must create distinct combinations and finishes to be able to attract new shoppers and offer jewelry that hasn't been seen before.

I find the jeweler's art a harmonious expression that surprises, pleases and captivates. What I desire most is for the person seeing my designs for the first time to fall in love with them, to want to own them. That's the feeling I look for when I'm creating jewelry.

My greatest challenge so far was finding the strength to venture out on my own. It was a difficult step because I felt like I was risking everything, but it was worth it, because things are going well in my workshop.

When I'm not working, I enjoy playing soccer, travel, theater, drawing and watching sports at the stadium, things that help me relax and think about the important things in life.

Thank you for making it possible for people around the world to appreciate our passion… our art.
