Cherryland Humane Society is a no-kill shelter serving the cats and dogs of Grand Traverse and Leelanau counties. Our mission is to provide a safe harbor for the animals entrusted to us as we strive to find them responsible, loving, and permanent homes while educating the public about humane values. Taking care of all the wonderful animals that come in would not be possible without the help of our community. Children frequently ask for pet food and toys for their birthdays so they can donate them to the shelter, and volunteers give hours of their time seven days a week making sure dogs are walked and cats get to play outside of their kennels. Without generosity like this and grant funding, saving the lives and caring for the hundreds of animals who temporarily call the shelter "home" each year would not be possible. Please, vote for us.
