City of Waxahachie Animal Services

The City of Waxahachie Animal Services is a small shelter in dire need of expansion. The shelter was built around 1980 and only has 15 dog kennels serving a community with over 50,000 citizens. We are in need of exposure to help shine some light on our shelter. I am the new Animal Services Manager that strives to make this shelter have a live release rate of 90%. Since my employment here, the shelter has received more exposure by outreach events, marketing tactics and online submissions for awards. Our shelter live release rate has increased over 30% in the past year.
