ERAF is a horse rescue located in Palm City, Florida. We are devoted to the rescue, rehabilitation, re-education and adoption of abused, abandoned and neglected horses. Currently, we have 31 horses in our care many of whom were brought to us as the result of a Sherrif's seizure of horses who were abandoned in pastures for weeks without any food or clean water. They came to us malnourished, with rain rot, parasites, overgrown hooves that made walking unbearingly painful and frightened of humans. Our staff, our volunteers and our Board brings these horses back to health, teaches them to trust again, trains them and finds them forever loving homes. It is terribly expensive to feed, shelter and care for horses and we desperately need your help to continue to help these majestic, sensitive and loving animals.
