FURRR 911 is an all volunteer, foster home based special needs kitten rescue located in Westchester County, NY. Our organization focuses on the care of orphaned newborn, critically ill or injured, and special needs kittens. We are dedicated to the rescuing, rehabbing, and rehoming of stray, orphaned, or abandoned kittens and believe that every kitten deserves the chance to live and be loved regardless of frailty, infirmity, or disability. Many shelters do not have staff or foster homes capable of raising newborns placing the kittens at risk of euthanasia. The lives of these vulnerable kittens are jeopardized if alternate placement is not found immediately as they need round the clock feeding and care. FURRR 911 works in conjunction with shelters, other rescue groups, and the public to ensure that these orphaned or abandoned newborn kittens are safe and cared for properly. Our organization raises over 200 bottle babies (orphaned kittens) annually in our dedicated kitten nursery complete with incubators and other medical equipment.
