Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary's mission is to provide a safe haven for cats and dogs with special needs and disabilities while fostering an inclusive environment for our community through adoption, volunteerism, education and community engagement. These are animals that would otherwise have been deemed unadoptable and at risk of being euthanized. We believe that animals with special needs and disabilities deserve just as much chance at a full life as any other. Animals in our care are provided with a low-stress environment at our cage-free facility where they can rehabilitate and become socialized while interacting with other animals, staff, and the general public. While the ultimate goal for each animal is adoption, we have some animals in our care that due to their medical needs are long term residents and are beloved members of the Safe Haven family. Animals in our care are only euthanized when they are experiencing suffering and there are no further options available. Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary rescues hundreds of animals per year, and operates 100% on donations. With the help of our generous donors and sponsors, we hope to be able to continue our goal to leave "no pet left behind" for many years to come.
