The Tehama County Animal Care Center is a county run animal shelter. As the only animal shelter in Tehama County, we provide stray intake, return to owner, adoption and licensing services for our community. With nearly 2,500 intakes each year, we adopt or transfer out nearly 90% of the incoming animals. Please visit to find the next member of your family!
