The Sanctuary for Senior Dogs rescues old dogs abandoned in pounds and shelters. We provide medical and behavioral care and guarantee each dog that comes to us a place for life, whether she is adopted or not. If a dog is too ill for adoption, he enters our Forever Foster program, receiving love and palliative care while he has an acceptable quality of life. Some of our dogs train as therapy dogs, giving back to the community that supports them. Each Sanctuary old dog lives in a foster home as part of the family.
