Update: Thanks to your support, Cinnamon has recovered and found a loving home. The rescue shared with us, "Treatment went great, surgery was a success! She recovered so well that it was hard to keep her on restricted activity for as long as she needed to be. She was ready to get back to her old self almost right away."

Cinnamon landed in an overcrowded shelter after likely being used as a bait dog, covered in injuries and scars. Fortunately, an Iowa rescue came to Cinnamon's aid.
This adorable girl has a torn CCL, or cranial cruciate ligament, a painful injury that can lead to additional damage to cartilage and surrounding bones. Cinnamon needs surgery to stabilize the joint before she's left with lifelong immobility. After surgery, she'll need physical therapy to manage her pain and help her heal.
Cinnamon is in good hands now, but without surgery, she can't move on from this painful chapter of her life. After she's healed, she'll live as a normal healthy pup and find her forever home. Will you help Cinnamon on her journey to recovery?
