Myan was surrendered to the shelter as just a tiny kitten. She was born with a condition called pectus excavatum, or funnel chest, in which the chest cavity is malformed.
Without treatment, there won't be space for Myan's heart and lungs as she grows. She's only a few weeks old but already showing signs of difficulty breathing. She will need a procedure where a chest plate is sewn into her ribs and sternum, reshaping the chest cavity to create more space.
