Bono was a stray senior cat who has faced countless challenges during his time on the streets. His journey took a tragic turn when he was caught in a cruel cat trap, leaving his leg severely broken. 

By the time he was rescued, Bono's injured leg showed clear signs of infection due to its exposure to environmental contaminants. He needed antibiotics urgently to stop the infection, then eventual surgery to repair the break.
