Garfield Barely Survived the Los Angeles Fires and Needs Critical Care

Since the Los Angeles fires broke out, Pasadena Humane has taken in over 150 lost pets. Many of those pets have been in good health. This kitty, sadly, is not one of those. We don't know his name so we're calling him Garfield.
Garfield was in very bad shape. He was found outside by a kind community member who rushed straight to Pasadena Humane for help. His face and body are covered in burns. Their Veterinary team wasted no time treating him, cleaning his wounds and giving him eye drops to help with his eye irritation due to smoke exposure. He is safe in their ICU, where he is resting in an oxygen kennel as he recovers.
Garfield barely made it out of the Eaton Fire. He has a long recovery ahead of him.
You can help Garfield get the treatment he needs to heal. Your donations will help cover his ongoing medical care and care for other pets burned in the fires.
Pasadena Humane is at ground zero of the Eaton Fire animal welfare response effort. They are working tirelessly to save every lost and injured pet that comes through their doors, to take in pets that owners are forced to surrender after losing their homes, and to reconnect lost pets with their families. We are in awe of their heroism and honored to support them.
