Davey arrived at an animal rescue group in Virginia sick and lethargic. As staff monitored him, things took a turn for the worse and his temperature spiked to 105 degrees. Poor Davey was taken to the emergency vet for supportive care and diagnostics.
Thanks to antibiotics and fluids, Davey's temperature stabilized. He'll have to continue taking this treatment when he goes home with his foster, but once he fights off illness and is well-nourished, he'll be fully recovered and ready for adoption!
