This 4-month-old kitten was found in a burned area in Altadena by the Pasadena Fire Department. She was rushed to our partner, Pasadena Humane, where they dubbed her A519470. We're calling her Angel.
Her fur was singed and covered in ash, and her tiny body was covered in burns. When she was found, the burns on her face were so bad that she couldn’t open her eyes or smell. She was struggling to walk due to her singed paw pads. Pasadena Humane's Animal Control Officer picked up the kitten from the fire department and brought her to their ICU, where they treated her wounds and gave her medications to soothe her pain.
They are doing everything they can to help this sweet kitten, but she’s not out of the woods yet. Your donation today will help provide lifesaving medical supplies and other resources to save Angel's life as well as animals like her who have been affected by the Eaton Fire.

They are working tirelessly to save every lost and injured pet that comes through their doors, to take in pets that owners are forced to surrender after losing their homes, and to reconnect lost pets with their families. We are in awe of their heroism and honored to support them. If you are an Altadena resident who believes Angel may be your kitten, please go to Pasadena Humane during the hours of 9:30am to 8:00pm.
