When Jade arrived at the shelter via Greater Good Charities transport, staff noticed an odd gait in both of her back legs. She was brought into a specialist, where it was determined that she has CCL tears in both of her legs, making it difficult and painful for her to walk.
Jade needs separate surgeries for both legs, beginning with the left due to the severity of the injury. Then this sweet girl will need ice and heat therapy as well as passive range of motion therapy. Recovery will take up to six months and Jade will need to take joint supplements for life, but once healed, she has a great chance at a long happy life in a loving home.
Thanks to you we gave Jade a second chance to run and play again!

What better way to be a part of an injured animals recovery than to give through Greater Good, where you can give snd know that that animal will have a chance of healing and get a chance at a better future!
The most touching assistance can be giving another animal(s) a helping hand. Sometimes it doesn't take much to create an ever expanding circle of love for those animals threatened by neglect, abuse or worse. And, believe me cats/dogs and other domestic and wild creatures can suffer much from human handling. So, share your "wealth" with other animals. Giving is one way to make you feel better about yourself and your pet and benefit another animal equally deserving.
The GreaterGood is an excellent organization that definitely cares about pets, animals, people and the planet. DM.
