Three intense wildfires are tearing through Spokane County and upending communities. Over 60,000 people and pets have fled their homes as the fires continue to destroy homes and thousands of acres.
So far, 700 homes and buildings have been destroyed and more than 8,000 acres burned as the fires rage on. They ignited on Saturday and are 0% contained as firefighters continue to battle them.
The Pacific Northwest is facing its worst fire season in more than 30 years. The fires are devastating communities, resulting in the loss of homes, businesses, and the displacement of thousands.
