Adoptable Feline Parmesan Reggiano is a Real Dish!

S. Az. Cat Rescue

This is the rescue story of a good-natured 5-year-old cat called Reggie for short, who is searching for a forever home filled with love, kindness, patience, and lots of affection.

If you are looking for a snuggly and super-sweet guy to join your family, Parmesan Reggiano — aka Reggie — may be your guy! Reggie very much enjoys affection from humans and hanging out with them. He will even nap on you or with you. He's got that perpetually sleepy look about him as if he just woke up with sheet marks still visible on his rumpled face.

While he loves to cuddle, he does like to try to fit in some playtime with his favorite wand toys, but then it's right back to cuddling.

Reggie is also a talker with his croaky meow, which he uses to ask you about your day and what's for dinner. Plus, how can you not love his adorable nose and slightly crossed eyes? He's a catch who's ready, willing, and able to bring his prospective forever family a lot of love and joy if they're willing to welcome him into their lives!

This sweet fella is good with dogs and cats and humans of all ages, with proper introductions, and he has zero special needs.

Reggie is, however, positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), but co-exists with his fellow house cat friends just fine and is overall healthy! He even recently had a dental where teeth were pulled, and he's feeling so much better because of it. Toothaches can really leave one feeling out of sorts.

Finally, Reggie is neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and FeLV negative. If this sweet boy could be the purrfect addition to your family, please fill out the adoption application on the Southern Arizona Cat Rescue's website. James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort. Over time, that eye became increasingly painful and irritated. James is the seeing-eye cat for his brother, making his condition even more urgent to treat.
