Pickley the cat has dreamy, green eyes. These incredibly rich emerald green eyes have made the stunning feline a hit on Instagram. So it comes as no surprise that he’s a little pet influencer, constantly posing for the camera.

But his life wasn’t always easy. Pickley has a rags-to-riches beginning since prior to his rise to fame, he was at an animal shelter. However, there is no doubt that his green eyes were his ticket out of his situation, and they’re what led him to get adopted.

Speaking to Cats on Catnip, his owners recalled their trip to the animal shelter when they adopted him, saying, “While all the other cats were playing, he wouldn’t stop staring at us through the glass. It felt like he chose us.”
