Family Dumps Senior Dog at Shelter and Asks for Him to Be Put Down, But His Story Doesn't End There

He had never been given toys before, so it took him a while to learn how to play. Now, he gently chews on them, a small but significant step in his emotional recovery. He would also do best as the only pet, although he might be able to live with another calm dog if his new family is committed to continuing his training.
