What Food Do You Hate That Everyone Else Seems to Love?

Here's another question on Reddit's popular r/AskReddit forum that's been getting thousands of comments!
Posted by u/Sigisen, the question is: "What's the food you hate but everyone seems to love it?"

Here are some of the interesting comments:
JosephAMcNeal says: "The cheap a-s frosting on cupcakes."
Qat-lover says: "Runny eggs."
ChibiSailorMercury says: "Bananas. I can't with the smell, the taste, the texture.... and people eat bananas around me all the time! When I was a kid, I made people believe I was allergic to bananas so they wouldn't offer them to me, because just 'I don't like bananas' always got answered with 'Come on, everybody loves a good banana!'"
Tasty-Jacket-866 says: "Marshmallows. I only like fresh ones, but any like packed ones are disgusting."

ugh_Increase105 says: "Olives."
Pelagicfisherman replies: "One of my most hated foods also, but the weird thing is I love olive oil, go figure."
Downtown-Assistant1 says: "Avocados."
KrissaKat says: "I like milk teas, but I just get them without boba or the jellies. I prefer not to chew my beverages lol."
HowDoIMakeAFriend says: "I remember trying sushi in front of a co-worker. I almost vomited and made a fool of myself."

Some of the foods that were mentioned are actually nutritious and delicious. Like avocados, which are a rich source of monounsaturated fat, fiber, B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, folate, magnesium, potassium, and carotenoids. These fruits help to fight cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and other chronic diseases. They also promote eye health and a balanced microbiome.
Meanwhile, olives are among the world's healthiest foods as well. They are an excellent source of antioxidants that protect our cells from radicals, which can cause cancer, heart disease, and other serious health troubles. Olives also have anti-inflammatory properties that help to prevent inflammatory disorders like fatty liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, diabetes, and rheumatoid arthritis.

Now, regarding bananas, they are nutrient-dense fruits that are known to boost heart, digestive, and kidney health. They can also help in weight loss, lowering blood sugar level, and improving insulin sensitivity when eaten unripe due to the resistant starch that these fruits contain.
Of course, it's only natural that people differ in food preferences but it's also for best to consider the benefits of many kinds of food before saying no to them forever. What do you think makes these foods so delightful to some and so hateful to others?
