Your donations are enhancing the lives of rescued pets like Bear.

The friendly pup who lived in a home without a fence would wander to meet other dogs and people to play with, but that resulted in him being chained to a tree for the first six months of his life.

Bear was finally rescued by Adopt a Dog - Western Oklahoma and received all the medical care he needed.

He was also fed nutritious food, thanks to your donations. The rescue shared, "With your generous donations, Bear was able to have good quality diet. Because of this, he has grown into a big, goofy, happy, healthy guy."

Bear is living his best life now where everyone enjoys his friendly demeanor. He steals the heart of every person he meets.

His caretakers told us, "Bear has never met a stranger! His positive energy brings a smile to everyone who meets him. He is our official "greeter" and gets to roam our secure acreage freely, hanging out with our volunteers all day long. Thank you for helping us to help sweet pets like Bear."

More Help is Needed

While this story has a happy ending, there are still countless animals in shelters across the country waiting to find homes. Donate today to help feed these hungry animals while they wait. Every dollar helps.

Your daily action on The Animal Rescue Site are also helping feed shelter animals across the country.

Every time you click, play trivia, and shop, you are helping feed shelter pets. These actions take a few minutes each day but have a huge impact in the lives of homeless dogs and cats.

Animal shelters are overcrowded and rely on donations to feed all the animals in their care. We want to thank you for taking the time to help animals daily.
