Your donations are helping save and transform the lives of neglected pets, like Phoenix.

The poor dog was found abandoned in a backyard severely emaciated with no food or water, or shelter from the elements. After being mistreated for so long, she had lost the sparkle in her eyes and trust in humans.

She cowered in fear when rescuers from Oklahoma Pet Collective Society arrived, but soon realized they were there to save her as they offered her food and treats.

Her road to recovery involved healing physically and emotionally. She was taken in by a foster family who showered her with love and thanks to your donations, she had unlimited nutritious food

"As the days turned into weeks, Phoenix transformed before our eyes. Her coat, once dull and thin, now shines with a healthy luster. Her eyes, once dull, now sparkle with renewed hope. Her tail, once hung low, now wags with excitement whenever she senses attention or affection. Phoenix's resilience and capacity for love inspired everyone around her," shared the rescue.

Phoenix is now living her best life with her foster mom and sends her thanks for your support. She has transformed into a playful pup who seeks out attention and snuggles. It is amazing what love and proper care can do.

She is excited to find a forever home and someone to love unconditionally.

The rescue is also grateful for your support and said, "We thank our donors from the bottom of our hearts for our life saving food donations that help us keep dogs like Phoenix on a healthy path of healing, with nutritious food to fill their hungry bellies."
