Your donations are improving the lives of shelter animals across the country. Many arrive at shelters malnourished and in need of medical care.

Enter to win and we'll feed a shelter pet! The Animal Rescue Site has partnered with 5 incredible brands to offer one HUGE prize!

That was the case for a cat named Mr. Sturgis.

The long-haired cat was rescued by Dolly's Cat Sanctuary and Rescue. For countless months he suffered from severe matting that restricted his movement and overgrown nails that were growing into his paw pads.

He was unable to groom himself properly and the stress took a toll on his body. A kind groomer removed all his matted fur and trimmed his nails.

The poor cat was also struggling to eat. He was examined by a veterinarian who had to unfortunately remove most of his teeth due to decay.

During the examination, the vet discovered that Mr. Sturgis has stomatitis, which means he needs to eat only soft food. That is where your generous donations saved the day.

The sweet feline now devours the donated wet food and is forever grateful for your support.

The rescue told us, "He’s still incredibly shy, but he is coming out of his shell. Having soft food on hand for him and cats like him is a dream come true. Look how beautiful his coat is now!"

Animals like Mr. Sturgis arrive daily at animals shelters nationwide in need of food and care. Join us in helping to feed homeless animals and allow shelters and rescues to use the money they save on food to cover their medical care.
