Senior Rescue Dog Living His Best Life Alongside Rescued Horses in Oklahoma

Your donations are enhancing the lives of senior rescue dogs.
Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation is an amazing place in Oklahoma where senior dogs and retired thoroughbred racehorses can live out the rest of their lives getting all the care and love they need.
The safe haven is home to countless senior dogs who enjoy life on the farm and greet volunteers with wagging tails. One of the friendliest and happiest dogs on the farm is called Happy, of course.

The sweet fella is full of joy and instantly fit in with the other senior dogs. He loves people and is often seen following workers around on the farm. When he needs a nap, he heads over to his favorite spot- the hay bales.

"Happy is a go-with-the-flow kind of guy who doesn’t ask for much," shared the rescue. All he needs is a soft pile of hay (for naps), humans to dote on him, and tasty food.

"We named him Happy because, well… he just is! Every day, he greets the world with pure joy, and his cheerful presence makes everyone around him smile. You’ll often find Happy following close behind a volunteer—whether they’re walking a horse, cleaning stalls or kennels, or taking a well-earned break in front of the fan. He waits patiently, tail thumping the ground, simply content to be near someone who loves him."

Thanks to your generous donations, Happy and all his canine friends are eating nutritious food that is nourishing their bodies and allowing them to have a spring in their step.
Happy devours the donated food and even got an extra mouthful for posing so nice next to his favorite kind.

The rescue and the dogs are grateful for the support and shared, "Nutritious meals like these give our senior dogs the extra boost they need—and the comfort they deserve in their golden years. From the bottom of our hearts, and from Happy and his ever-wagging tail, thank you for helping us care for these incredible animals."
