Feral Kitten Locked Away for Days Without Food or Water
Michelle Milliken
The lone survivor of a feral cat litter that was locked away for three days is getting stronger and healthier, and it wouldn’t be possible without you.
This tiny little kitten was taken into a Hungarian rescue after she was found in a pitiful state.
The organization says she was “left to die without food or water. Her mother is a feral cat, and her siblings didn’t survive — she was cast aside as unwanted. Thankfully, someone discovered her cruel fate and acted immediately. She was rescued just in time — barely alive. She arrived dehydrated and extremely weak. For her age, she was unusually tiny — barely hanging on.”

Thanks to your clicks, trivia participation, shopping for a cause, and direct donations, she had what she needed to get better. Throughout the course of her treatment, she’s been eating donated food the rescue received through our partner Greater Good Charities’ GOODS program. GGC helps distribute products that pet food supplies can’t sell to shelters in need. The transport can sometimes be states away, or even countries away, in this case.
This sweet Hungarian cutie is doing much better with all the nutritious food she’s been enjoying.
The rescue says, “She grew stronger day by day, and now she’s a little fluffball, eating well and full of life. After completing her two-week quarantine, we can finally breathe a sigh of relief. And now, a kind- hearted adopter has stepped forward — someone willing to wait patiently until her vaccination program is complete. That kind of dedication gives us hope.”
