We adopted Dempsey at three-months-old, and he became our child we never had together in our blended family.

He is goofy, athletic, adorable, and all kinds of quirky. He loves to play ball - actually, he is ADDICTED to playing ball.

In December of that same year, we found out that one of his littermates had been returned to the rescue. We decided to foster her, and the minute they met, they were inseparable.

Even though they were brought up in different households, they knew one another. Phoebe was afraid of everyone and everything but myself and Dempsey. He is truly her "security blanket" and she is now a very outgoing and loving dog. They are yin and yang to one another - and definitely our loves.

They make our family what we are today, and our love for them is immeasurable. Our rescues are wonderful and we wouldn't change a thing about how it all came about.
