When Journey came to us on March 29, she brought with her a heartbreaking past.💔

Journey had spent the first few years of her life living in a kennel and being used for breeding. She arrived dirty, suffering from hookworms, with her coat in terrible condition, and she wasn't even house-trained. It was clear she had experienced very little beyond simply surviving.

But underneath all of that was the sweetest, most loving girl. Since coming to us, Journey has been learning what it means to simply be a dog—to be loved, spoiled, safe, and part of a family.

Over the last few weeks, we noticed changes in her behavior along with rapid weight gain. After a veterinary visit and examination, we received quite the surprise: Journey is pregnant and expected to deliver approximately seven to nine puppies within the next two weeks. 🐾

While this was definitely unexpected, these puppies will never know the life Journey came from. They will be raised inside our home, loved, socialized, and properly cared for from day one.

It looks like Journey's rescue story wasn't quite finished yet.

Journey is an F1 Aussiedoodle, and the puppies will be FB Aussiedoodles. The puppies will be available for rehoming after they are at least eight weeks old. All vaccinations, deworming treatments, and veterinary checks will be completed beforehand.

James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort. Over time, that eye became increasingly painful and irritated. James is the seeing-eye cat for his brother, making his condition even more urgent to treat.
