I had fallen the day after Christmas. I broke my left collarbone and right foot and was quite immobile.
I live by myself and am a senior citizen who didn't have anyone to help me. My adorable little 6-month-old beagle decided that she would take on the duty of being my nurse so I could get better.
As I laid on my couch, unable to go up the stairs to my bedroom, I fell asleep.
I had a heating pad over my left shoulder, ice pack on my right foot and had taken some pain meds. When I woke up, I hadn't moved at all but found my little sweetheart was now laying over the arm of the couch and down on my right side to comfort me.
She is such a sensitive little girl that I just had to get a picture of this heartwarming experience. Look what a caring and adorable face she has! I thank God everyday that she is here with me.
