Max came to us very unexpectedly. After coming back from a walk, we noticed a small animal grazing on the grass at the apartment complex we lived in at the time.

Upon further investigation, we determined it was a domestic rabbit. Knowing that he wasn't meant to be outside by himself, we knocked on doors to determine if anyone was missing a rabbit, and we had him scanned for a microchip.

After no luck locating an owner, we determined that someone had set him loose and abandoned him. We already had the necessary supplies due to having a guinea pig, so Max was adopted by us.

He lived his last 3.5 years with us and was such a character! He would follow us around the house, and he knew that the fridge is where his veggies were kept, so every time someone got into the fridge, he would try to hop in.

He was always looking for mischief and fun games to play, but one of his favorite things was to find a patch of sunlight and take a nap. Max is very much missed and was very loved during his time with us!
