This is my heart dog, Pyper. She rescued me in the fall of 2005. She had been in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit and had to run for her life.

She was brought to me by Catahoula Rescue with the intention of being a foster. Foster fail!

Pyper was the best thing that ever happened to me. She was just a month shy of her 19th birthday when we had to send her over the rainbow bridge, and life has not been the same since.
