As attacks increase in intensity and frequency across Ukraine, we wanted to share some good news from our hero, Krystina, at Under the Sun Shelter.

She continues to risk her life to enter war zones to save terrified, abandoned, and homeless animals and bring them back to her shelter. With your continued support, she can feed them nutritious food, give them the medical care they need, and find them loving homes.

She spends every waking hour rescuing, caring, or transporting dogs to their new homes. Hundreds of dogs are recovering emotionally and physically from the trauma they have endured due to the war. 

Krystina will not stop rescuing animals and doing all she can to find them a safe and loving home. Over the past couple of months, she has found homes for dozens of dogs. This is no small feat. 

All her hard work from photographing the dogs to paperwork to communicating with adopters is paying off. See for yourself how happy these dogs are now in their new homes abroad.
