Daisy has endured immense heartbreak and pain - but is finally recovering thanks in part to your donations

The senior dog arrived at the shelter when her beloved owner passed away. She was heartbroken, confused, and in pain. Staff noticed she was having trouble getting around.

"Every movement was slow and labored, making it difficult for her to enjoy the simple pleasures of life—like walking, playing, or even lying comfortably in her bed," they told us.

Daisy was suffering from severe arthritis in her hips and needed help. Your donations provided her with Metacam, a medication that provides much-needed pain relief for arthritis.

Slowly, Daisy started to move more freely and enjoy daily walks and play with squeaky toys.

Her sweet demeanor and adorable face quickly won the heart of a new family, and she is living her best life. The shelter shared, "Daisy now enjoys a comfortable life, full of belly rubs and love. With the support of Metacam and her new family, Daisy is thriving, proving that it’s never too late for a second chance at happiness."

Thank you so much for your ongoing support and donations that provide support to senior shelter dogs. Shelter life is especially hard on these gray-muzzled dogs, but you can help make it a little more comfortable. Donate now!

James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort.
