CJ May Have Special Needs, but She's One Special Kitty!

S. Arizona Cat Rescue

Gorgeous CJ is full of so much love and fun she operates in front-wheel drive only, but she doesn't know any different than any other happy and "normal" cat. She is a total sweetie pie and an absolute lover of being petted. She will come running the best she can to get them whenever you come into the room and give sweet little head butts to remind you that it's time to dote on her.

Adoptable Cats

She also LOVES playing with toys, especially those that hang from a string or that she can toss into the air. Watching her play is quite comical, yet so adorable when she throws her toys and chases them! She is absolutely gorgeous with her magnificent green eyes and silky multi-colored coat. Besides her stunning good looks, it's impossible not to fall in love with her personality. She doesn't let her disability hold her back one bit. She's even able to pull herself up onto cat trees super quick. It's amazing how well she has adapted to her situation.

Special Needs Pets

So what do we mean by front-wheel drive only? CJ has rear limb paralysis and is incontinent (a fancy word that means she requires help going to the bathroom). Because of this, she needs a committed and patient family who can express her (SUPER EASY to learn how) 2-3x daily and understand that accidents happen. She completed physical therapy with Southern Arizona Cat Rescue, and her hind legs do have some movement. Every now and then she tries to stand, but she is content pulling herself around.

Southern Arizona Cat Rescue

CJ is okay with less dominant cats, as she likes to have things HER way. She is also okay with respectful dogs and kids. She is spayed, current on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If interested, feel free to message or email SACatRescue for more info on this gorgeous girl (her foster mom would love to chat!) or apply on their website.
