PA PitStop rescues street dogs in the Rio Grande Valley, TX. It ison the border of the US and Mexico. Why RGV? Simple. It has one of thehighest populations (thousands) of homeless dogs (of every size andbreed) in our country. These dogs are living in harsh conditions,abandoned, neglected, dumped, and exposed to extreme heat and weather.They salvage for food, need medical help, and live for the day thathumans step in to make life a little better.We do ground work in the RGV: We travel there from PA several times ayear to feed street dogs, help desperate dogs, and visit our valuablefosters. We also take on some of the most extreme medical cases; casesthat shelters and other rescues won't even touch because we feel thatthese pups also deserve a chance. We then transport the pups that arehealthy to PA and find them loving homes.
