Pangolins are endangered and threatened by illegal trading. This holiday season, help protect pangolins by supporting the rescues that rehabilitate them!

The pangolin, known for its beautiful, armor-like scales, is rapidly disappearing. They are the most trafficked mammal in the world due to being illegally poached for their meat and scales. Now, pangolins are critically endangered and only a few remain. Will you help us stop this?

Greater Good Charities has been working with Wildlife At-Risk to build pangolin enclosures and protect these animals from extinction. These enclosures act as rehabilitation centers for species rescued from the trafficking trade and provide the opportunity for a breeding program in hopes of helping recover/populate the dwindling wild pangolin populations. The breeding program has already proved successful. Last November, a baby pangolin, known as a pangopup, was born!

Currently, they have 19 pangolins in their care, four of them recently rescued from illegal trading in very poor condition. They'll spend several months in rehabilitation before they're integrated with the rest of the pangolins, eventually being released back into the wild.
