Face coverings like this one are intended for personal use in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies.)
I love the marble pattern! I bought both colors - the material is a comfortable and BREATHABLE (nice to breath) cotton. The metal nose piece was sewn low in the mask, not on the top edge which was odd but doable. For the price, helping the animals and other people I do like them.
I bought 2 of each pattern. One set for me and the other for a gift. I thought the adjustable nose metal strip seemed below the seam when I got them. I hand wash all our masks before wearing them and when I washed mine, the nose strip was just stuck in and came out when I was rinsing the masks! I've made many masks and have these aluminum strips. They have a sticky side that you peel off the paper, place it in the mask, and stitch the ends after placing in the seam to prevent them from moving around. If I need a nose piece, I'll put a piece of jewelry wire in & secure the ends with stitches. Otherwise, the masks are beautiful and each one is different pattern due to the way the fabric is made!
Purchased one in each color. They arrived quickly, look very nice but upon putting it on, one of the ear straps broke. No problem, I sewed it back in place. But while wearing it, realized that they sewed the wire above the nose too low in the fabric, clearly in the wrong place! I ended sewing a wire paper clip on both masks! Not great, but solved the problem at least temporarily.
